Our Year 1 and 2 children had their trip to Beamish this week. Thankfully there was no nasty weather, and the children had a wonderful day. They explored lots of different areas of Beamish, and took part in various activities. Year 1 had an eventful time learning about old fashioned Easter, including making some Simnel cakes and an Easter Egg Hunt. Year 2 had a messy activity making steam trains out of clay.
All staff praised the children's behaviour throughout the trip, and said they thoroughly enjoyed their fun filled day out.
In November 2015 some of our year 5 and 6 pupils attended Derwent Hill Outdoor Activity Centre along with 2 members of staff: Mrs Vernon and Mr Smith.
They had a fantastic week exploring and gaining many new skills. They took part in Hill Walking, Gorge Walking, helping make fires up on the farm, Kayaking and many other team activities.
We have put together a video below for you to see just some of the many photographs taken during their stay. Well Done to everyone we hope you all enjoyed this fantastic experience.
