This week has been Anti-bullying week each class have taken part by completing lots of different activities in class. The children and staff came to school wearing odd socks to celebrate that everyone is different and this is what makes us special.

Each class took time to learn more about bullying and how to prevent it. At Eppleton Academy we believe that bullying has no place in our school. We are dedicated to making sure each child feels happy and safe at school.

Alongside the Anti-bullying theme we celebrated World Kindness Day which was on Friday 13th November 2020. Some of our classes embarked on a Secret Angels Mission.

Each child picked the name of another child at random and became their Secret Angel. They spent the week being extra nice to that child, but they were also encouraged to be extra nice to other children too in order to disguise their real assignment.

This week has been filled with kindness but it is important to remember to always choose to be kind not just this week.
