Sketching, Printing, Designing.

Art Week

This week has been our art week. We have been looking at architecture. We discussed what job an architect does and how they design houses and buildings. We looked at a range of houses and then used our sketching skills to sketch a house. We then used a section of that picture and enlarged it on to A5. We used this enlargement to create a monoprint. We then designed our own houses even drawing a floor plan. Finally, we looked at the artist, Hundertwasser, who creates amazing colourful and patterned houses. We took inspiration from his patterns and created our own houses using his pattern idea. Here are some of our creations.
